Carbon Conversions announced today that it will be a part of an episode of the new Science Channel series “Made by Destruction.” The show details for the viewer how something at the end of its useful life is “destroyed” and then “remade” into something else. The show will air on the Science Channel tonight at 10:30pm.
Carbon Conversions recycles carbon fiber-reinforced parts and the waste streams used to produce those parts. The company incorporates reclaimed carbon fibers in advanced materials that are used to make new, high-performance components. Carbon Conversions’ engineers work with manufacturers to integrate materials using reclaimed carbon fiber into their product designs.
“We were thrilled to get the call and share our story in the upcoming episode,” said Carbon Conversions CEO Mark Mauhar. “Carbon Conversions is taking used items and recycling them into high performance advanced materials. We look forward to watching the series and spreading the word of the advanced technology recycling solutions available.”
